Banana?

Another day at the supermarket With Mum, Getting the weekly groceries.
as Chin sits in the trolley, his mum chucks items in, filling it as they go.
They round a corner, and Chen sees his  nemesis  in the fruit and veg aisle…
Quick as a flash Chen's mum grabs a banana for the free fruit basket …
here we go again Chen thought to himself. BANANA I hate BANANA!
As Chen's Mum stuffs piece after piece into Chen’s mouth he starts to gag,
Belching loudly a large piece of sticky banana comes flying out of his mouth,
hurtling through the air the yellow gooey piece of banana hits Chen's Mum straight in the
eyeball, as She stumbles back she yells “AHH!”as the goo drips down slowly onto her new black
and white shoes like a piece of melted cheese.
Horrified, without thinking she scrapes the banana off with Chen's favourite teddy bear!
“Oops”. The tiers did not stop until they got home.

Lockdown shop

“Ok Mum I'm ready to go” I shout as I slide the white mask over my face. It's day 25 of New Zealand's Covid-19 level 4 lockdown, I'm off to the supermarket with mum. With our shopping list in hand, we walk down the lonely street to the supermarket, not a soul in sight! We arrive at the supermarket, only to find a long queue waiting for us, everyone is 2 metres apart. Fifteen minutes pass before we get inside. Grabbing a trolley we start our essential shop, veg, milk, bread and wine for my mum. Trying to stay 2 metres apart from the other customers is like avoiding the barrels in Donkey Kong! We head to the checkout, and I think to myself that it's like visiting someone in prison with the glass screen between us. I help Mum load the groceries onto the belt as the lady scans them through. Mum packs the groceries into the bags we brought from home and swipes her card to pay. We head back home and after washing our hands and I help mum unpack.
